The Martec Minute

Welcome to the Martec Minute.  This is a weekly article (excluding holidays) on a topic of interest to those working in the retail and consumer goods sectors.  Each article takes just a minute or two to read.

These articles pick up on the latest retail news and highlight whether it might be a problem for you or your customers, and what you can do about it.  They will keep you up to date on key issues in the industry and some include guidance on how to address them.  They may well help you in your day-to-day business.

You can have a look at some of our recently published articles here.

If you subscribe, you will not be placed on Martec’s sales mailing list, so this is the only email you will receive from us and you can unsubscribe at any time.  If you are already on the Martec sales mailing list, you will continue to receive less frequent sales emails, but you can unsubscribe separately from that list.

Martec Minutes are also published in the Resources section of our web site.  You can go to this section at any time to review all past minutes for a topic that you need a refresh on.

Register at this link.  Check the box for Martec Minute.  On the rest of the form, you only need complete your name, company and email address for this purpose.  If you check both boxes, you will be entered on two lists.

Some of the Martec Minutes have links to more detailed information on how to address an issue of concern.

These can be read through our Retail and Consumer Goods Industry WIKI which is a cross between a knowledge bank of retail and consumer goods industry information and an Electronic Performance Support System (EPSS).

It is organised as a curated online WIKI to help those new to the industry, or those with more experience, find specific pieces of knowledge to help them perform their roles more successfully. In addition to the content, there is a series of downloadable tools and job aids to help users in their day-to-day tasks

If you already have access then they will be available to you. You have to register personally, but you have automatic right of access if you have bought a class in the last 12 months, or your company licences the WIKI.  You can download a document with registration instructions and register immediately.

If you have a log in already, you may be asked to log in first.  If you are not licenced to use the WIKI you can register now and have a two week free trial.  If you would like more information on the WIKI or would like to buy a licence click here.
