Working with Retailers Career Path
A Typical Career Path for Companies Working With Retailers
This chart illustrates a typical career path for a person within a technology supplier, consulting firm or systems integrator serving retail. We provide the retail industry training and upskilling services to help you or your colleagues provide a better service to your clients, and move up the various stages of the career paths.
Learning paths for vendors are a little different to learning paths for retailers. Let's suppose you are a Buying and Merchandising consultant. You need a wider set of skills than many reytail staff would do as you must interview clients across the orgamizational hierarchy and have a good understanding of at least all the basic elements of their job roles. Hence your learning paths will probably be longer than those for the individuals in the client that you work with.
Select the person icon to view the Martec recommended learning path for each specific role. It is also worth checking whether you need to include any of the training from prior roles on your chosen path.
The learning paths include e-learning classes, e-reading, downloadable job aids and performance support tools.
