Retail Account Development Workshops
Martec offers retail account planning workshops so that account teams can develop their own account plans using a formal and rigorous process, facilitated by experienced retail industry coaches. In many cases, Martec also carries out the initial desk research.
The workshop process includes:
- Interpretation of the desk research
- Reading and interpreting the retailer's key performance indicators, e.g. inventory turn
- SWOT analysis of the retailer (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats)
- Identification of the retailer's business goals and critical success factors
- Development of account goals and objectives that align with the retailer's goals
- Development of potential opportunity identification
- Development of execution plans
Workshops can be run in different ways for one, five or ten account teams at a time. Attendees leave with a completed account plan for their key account.
After account plans have been developed, Martec can provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure stickiness of the results.
