Our entry level product for manufacturers and suppliers is Understanding Retail, an 8 to 10 hour web-based training program designed to give vendor personnel a comprehensive understanding of the retail business. By the end of the program, participants will be able to:

Our Retail Partnering class is a two day program that addresses partnering with and selling to retailers.
It addresses key concepts such as:
- Strategic or solution selling
- Account planning and account development
- Layered selling aligning your management with the customer's management at each level

The larger retailers provide their vendors with access to store
and SKU level sales and inventory data. Their expectation is that
vendors will do a better job of keeping them in stock and developing
new business ideas and innovations. Retail Partnering helps vendors
achieve this, Martec offers training in how to read and interpret
retail sales data, what analyses to conduct and how to identify
